Quantified Nothingness…

It’s always been the same, no one else to blame,
Have you ever felt the feeling…
You stand amidst an ocean of mirrors,
Everyone showing you their back save one….
And that’s you….

Have you ever felt the feeling…
You stand confronting a spotless white wall,
The wall infinitely restrained, defining …
How small and inconsequential you are.

Have you ever felt the feeling…
Where you know not what you want for you,
And rest in peace uncomfortably numb,
Knowing the fact life has turned its back,
Can you survive your life….
Knowing there is no one to care and love….
Have you ever felt the feeling…

Have you ever felt the feeling,
People look at you in disgust,
The pleasure of being hated and the kiss of abhorrence,
Excruciating embarrassment oozing out of the excoriated skin,
Yet living life and asking for yet another chance…
A chance to prove yourself….
Shattering the mirrors of shame…
Destroying the walls of inequalities…
Piercing through the forces of sombre relations…
And the glee of falling yet again…
The smell of defeat for the umpteenth time…

But you know you tried, you gave you to life,
Magnanimous in your defeat, you have won,
What you did was, you…
Quantified Nothingness.
